Robotics
Expansion Summer Camp 1& 2 Course Description: This Summer Robotics Camp (a
combined expanded in-depth version of Robotics 101 and Robotics 201) will use a
range of hands-on exercises so children grasp a more in depth knowledge of
electrical, mechanical and software concepts related to the robotics field. The exercises are designed for students to
gain a better knowledge of the components related to robotics. Students will also use robots in various
exercises to gain a better understanding of challenges in foreign
environments. A focus on electrical
concepts will be emphasized. In this
class, each child will build and test an electrical robot that does not need to
be programmed.
We will have a guest speaker from the Smithsonian that will perform a special exercise with the students.
